So I'm watching this movie that I come back to once in a while. It's a great, entertaining movie but because it's directed by Cameron Crowe, it actually has something to say and of course the character of Jerry is good for when you have ANGST. Not just angst but when you really have shit going on. It's either that or Hamlet and at the moment I'll take JM.
I forget just how PERFECT the Show Me The Money scene is.
1. Timing. The panic to salvage his job leads to an amazing build up.
2. Cuba Gooding Jr. Talk about energy.
3. The line of ants and flood.
4. "Tee Pee."
5. SHOW ME THE MONEY! I can't hear you say it again! SHOW ME THE MONEEEY!!! SHOW MEE THE MONEEEEEEEEEY!!!!!!!!
