In case there is someone who doesn't know much about this, i.e. doesn't obsessivly research ( i missed my calling as a dermatoligist I swear to God), unclear skin could be eczema (yes one can have this on their face and sometimes it appears red much like acne and somtimes it appears dark even black), impetigo (effectively infected acne- and this can be infected even if the person is very careful and no it doesn't just happen to children or those in high risk professions) and or acne. And these are just a few.
Unclear skin doesn't happen to people who don't wash, don't have a skin care routine (everyone has one)- it happens to those who are just unlucky. The human body has so many different differences amongst individuals, when you take into account all the things that can go wrong its not suprising what does. So for something to go wrong with your skin, just be thankful it isn't skin CANCER. And for those people who give you grief about it; educate them. You're better than them for actually knowing stuff. Just wanted to clear a few myths. Because actually it does make me feel better to think about things logically. And seeing tutorials advertised on youtube for flawless makeup don't help when you can't look flawless.
And if you have a problem, visit your Doctor. Don't put it off. I had impetigo and mistook it for acne. I have good skin but am very prone to something which could be /resembling fricking polycystic (swollen) acne. You must see a doctor AS WELL as doing your research on the net. Don't expect answers from yahoo or whatever; one person's cure is another person's skin worsener.
And persist. It takes time for medicines to work. Weeks sometimes. So know you are doing your best and don't lose sleep over it. A body and mind short of sleep is no good no matter how clear or unclear the skin.
And keep clean. Uncleanliness only makes problems worse. It doesnt cause them but it makes them worse. do clean your computer, your phone ,your pillow ( just a clean tissue as some washing liquids and powders can be too harsh especially if used too often) and wash your skin before you treat that -should be not wet with water- area. And don't overdose.
